1979 - 1983

After secondary school Luca Vecoli decides to start a course at the Instituto Tecnico Industriale di Pisa with the goal to study engineering sciences afterwards.

1985 - 1998

He is interested in various forms of artistic expressions. Luca Vecoli attends the Instituto Statale d’Arte Stagio Stagi in Pietrasanta and takes a high school diploma in the Faculty of Applied Arts. He makes first autodidactic experiences in the field of black and white photogaphy, developing negatives and printing his own first photographs. He applies to piano playing and music theory and attends several courses of jazz music in Siena. Luca Vecoli studies Literature and Philosophy at the University of Pisa and achieves a master’s degree with a thesis on aesthetics. In the meantime he gains first experiences as a professional photographer working with Roberto Mariani in Pietrasanta.
